Before the actual start of lectures in the winter semester 2025/2026, some events will already take place for the new students of the Elite Graduate Program Scientific Computing.

Introductory Meeting

All new students of the elite master’s program Scientific Computing are invited to attend the Introductory Meeting Winter Semester 2025/2026 on September 30, 2025, at 4:15 pm in S 106 (Building FAN C). The meeting will last approximately one hour and includes the following topics: CMLife, Elearning, Modules and Examination Regulations, Seminars of the program, Internship, etc.

Pre-Course Scientific Computing

This course is designed to make it easier for new students to start the winter semester 2025/2026. It will take place from September 29 to October 10, 2025. In this course, the first three days will cover calculus and introductory topics in functional analysis. The following two days will repeat topics from numerical mathematics. In the second week, participants will refresh their programming skills with a course in C/C++.
